The highlights for Demyo 3.1 are:

Demyo can now manage regular books, not just comics. You are free to categorize them how you want and to hide some fields from some book types.
Tags have been generalized as taxons, which are either genres or tags. You can freely convert between types, which gives you a more fine-grained way to categorize your books. Series can now also have tags and genres.
Series relations are migrated to universes, which can be named, have images and represent the links between multiple series and books. It is now easier to link larger number of series together and linking books without series is finally possible.
You can add authors, tags and derivative sources dynamically from some edit pages. No more tedious planning of what you need to add a book or derivative.
Fields were added to document the names of books and series in their original language.
You can now track the birth/death dates of authors as well as the name in their native language and their nationality. Demyo will flag series with only deceased authors and aggregate the countries of origin of all authors.
You can now search for author data on Wikipedia / Wikidata. Demyo will extract all available information to add it to your database.
A field was added to document the cover illustrator(s) for a book.
A field was added to document whether a derivative source is still active.
When adding a book, Demyo suggests sizes that are common for the selected publisher or collection.
Drag-and-dropping images has been extended to authors, publishers and collections.
There has been a large effort to fully test the import and export processes to avoid data loss issues.
